Updates

For Current & New ELC Families

Current Update: February 2022

Greetings!

It has been a little while since we have provided you with an update on the new Early Learning Center at Hubbard Hill! All is going well, and the project is moving forward with the ground cleared for construction!

We have recently received a few questions regarding the fall 2022-2023 school year and where it will be conducted. The FALL 2022-2023 ELC SCHOOL YEAR WILL BE AT ELC AT GRANGER COMMUNITY CHURCH.

The reasons behind this decision are manifold. The primary reasons being external factors which have impacted the construction timeline. Specifically, supply chain issues with materials, high costs of labor, and the ongoing challenges associated with COVID-19. Consequently, in keeping with the best interests of our precious children and valued families at the forefront, it was decided to delay the school opening until the fall of 2023. This is intended to mitigate any potential disruption to our students which would occur moving the school mid-year and facilitate a seamless transition in the fall.

The ELC at Granger Community Church will operate for the 2022-2023 school year with the same excellence and quality educational experience you have enjoyed and come to expect from the ELC. We are extremely excited to continue delivering our unique, high-quality early childhood expertise here in Granger to families in Michiana and look forward to another great school year in the fall.

The new school is generating a great deal of excitement and anticipation and we look forward to opening the doors to you and the entire community in the fall of 2023!

Director, ELC                                  CEO, Hubbard Hill Retirement Community/ELC

Previous Updates

We’re so excited to be able to share with you the progress that’s been made as we look to the future of The Early Learning Center, where it’s on track to open in Fall of 2022 at Hubbard Hill in Elkhart. Hear from Lead Pastor Dr. Ted Bryant and Hubbard Hill Living Wisdom Community CEO Patrick Pingel as they share an update on what’s coming next for The Early Learning Center and why we’re so excited about this opportunity for intergenerational learning.

We have great news to share! For the 2021-2022 school year, the Early Learning Center is entering a transition year and will continue to operate at full capacity as part of Granger Community Church. We will utilize this transition year to prepare for the much-anticipated launch at a new location in a cutting-edge partnership with Hubbard Hill in Elkhart for the 2022-2023 school year. (The new location is only 25 minutes from the Granger Campus of Granger Community Church, and the school will be located in a state-of-the-art building being built during this transition year.)

Our mutual emphasis on excellence, faith, values, mission, innovation, a community-based foundation and a richness in heritage shows how we are extraordinarily aligned to move in this new direction with Hubbard Hill.

Thank you for praying through this difficult period, as we have been discussing the possibility of the Early Learning Center thriving apart from Granger Community Church.
